model trains informationThe 28mm wide-angle lens opens up a plethera of photographic opportunities, allowing photographers to easily capture a large group of people, or expansive architectural structures and landscapes with dynamic width and rich perspective. The wide-angle lens is particularly helpful in situations where you cannot step back or move away from a subject – ideal for shooting group portraits in a small room for example. The diminutive size of the 7.2 megapixel DMC-TZ3 and 6.0 megapixel DMC-TZ2 belies the wealth of technological features. Incorporating a powerful 10x optical zoom in such a slim and stylish body is impressive in itself. Add to this the incorporation of Panasonic`s Mega O.I.S that prevents blurring from shaky hands, Intelligent ISO to prevent motion blur, and the high quality, high performance image-processing Venus Engine III to name but a few – and the calibre of these new additions becomes apparent. The LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens comprises 11 elements in nine groups, including an ED (extra-low dispersion) lens and three aspherical lenses. This advanced lens unit passes Leica`s stringent standards and delivers an exceptional optical performance. To further add to their appeal, the zoom ratio can be extended up to 15x in 3megapixel resolution mode (13.8x for the DMC-TZ2) with minimal deterioration thanks to the Extra Optical Zoom. By using the central part of the CCD, this powerful zooming function allows you to easily capture and magnify distant subjects. Furthermore, in combination with the 4x digital zoom, a zoom factor of up to 60x can be achieved (55x for the DMC-TZ2).

  • 7.2-megapixel CCD captures enough detail for photo-quality 15 x 20-inch prints
  • 10x image-stabilized optical zoom; 3.0-inch LCD display
  • Intelligent ISO Control (I.I.C.) reduces image blur from subject movement and low light
  • Records full-size movies in wide-aspect VGA (848 x 480) at 30 frames per second
  • Stores images on SD/SDHC/MMC memory cards

model trains informationNon-stop train action the way kids love it. A great gift for birthdays, holidays, or anytime. Perfect for pre-school and up. You’ve seen Thomas; now see a REAL tank engine puffing down the track. Plus lots of freight trains and passenger trains in action. Narrative provides interesting and educational information about trains. Be sure to check out Real Trains For Kids 2 as well!

The Real Trains For Kids videos take children on an adventure they’ll want to repeat over and over. They’ll see real trains in action and learn what they do. They’ll see them in train yards and at factories, racing through beautiful countryside, and rolling along the tracks very very close. They’ll see things they won’t find in any other video. The action is so fast and furious they won’t want to turn their heads for a moment! Real Trains for Kids 1 & 2 have entirely different material. Each is complete in itself. There is no repetition. Each has unusual footage and interesting information not found in other trains videos for children. So you can feel free to buy either one first — or buy them both. Highlights on Real Trains For Kids 1 include rare steam engines, a circus train, a colorful variety of locomotives, a look at the many different types of trains from intermodals to multi-levels, plus trains in snowstorms and rain storms, and a close-up look at unusual track cars at work replacing ties. And lots more. Here are what just a few of our customers have said: from Karlynn R. in Kewanee, IL — “Real Trains for Kids 1 and 2 have been played so much that they are getting thin. I think I actually have them memorized forwards and backwards. My son loves them sooooo much but mommy is ready for some new ones. Could you give me an educated guess how much longer I’ll have to to wait?? Thanks.” From Kerry T. in Kalamazoo, MI — “My three-year old boy has had the Real Trains DVD 1 and 2 since around October, and he will watch it EACH and EVERY day of the week!!! He prefers it over cartoons and never gets bored with it!!!!!! One time he was on the phone with his uncle for fifteen minutes explaining dialogue from the show.” From Elaine W. in Eugene, OR — “The train video is visually wonderful. Not justs for kids! My husband said he hadn’t known before about how the railroad ties went in or seen trains linking together.”
